Denmark Group member 2

By Grant Hastelton

We have some major problems with one of our goalkeepers, Thomas Sorensen, due to a hurt elbow that he dislocating last month. I think that Thomas can recover in time for the games. There is a possibility that he can re-hurt his elbow in the middle of a game. Then our team will have no good subs that can play goal keeper. I hope his elbow can remain healthy for the rest of the 2010 season, so that we can win the 2010 World Cup

.
"Hopefully, within a couple of weeks, with a lot of hard work in between, I will be back and close to resuming full training." Thomas Sorensen, Denmark goalkeeper.

I think that when a goal keeper makes a statement like that, he can recover, it just depends if it will be soon enough.

Soccer or “football” as we call it back in Denmark, is a huge sport in Denmark.

If we win or lose we will still be looked at as hero’s for making it this far. I hope, but I can’t tell for sure, that we will win the tournament.

When we reach Africa we can go very far as long as we can keep our eyes on the prize, and don’t lose track of our long term goal. As long as Thomas Sorensen can stay healthy, we will get really far in the world cup. You never know; we could even win it all and be heroes to our country. We have the skills to win it; we just have to do it!

  2. You did a great job on the research and report, especially with the quote on what Thomas Sorensen said.

  3. I agree with Grant that if Thomas Sorensen is healthy Denmark will go a long way. I feel that Denmark has to play their hardest when they face Cameroon. This game will determine if they advance or not.
